Samarra Journal of Engineering Science and Research (SJESR) is a fully open-access journal. All published content is freely available to read, download, and share immediately upon publication.
No fees for readers:

Copyright Ownership
Copyright Transfer to SJESR
Upon acceptance for publication, authors agree to transfer copyright of their manuscripts to SJESR. SJESR becomes the copyright holder of all published content.
What This Means
- Copyright ownership transfers from the authors to SJESR.
- SJESR becomes the exclusive copyright holder.
- SJESR holds the legal rights to publish, reproduce, and distribute the article in all forms and media.
- The work is safeguarded against unauthorized use by SJESR as the copyright holder.

All published articles display the copyright notice:

Why Copyright Transfer
Copyright transfer ensures:
- Legal authority for SJESR to publish and distribute the work under CC BY 4.0.
- Institutional responsibility for long-term preservation and stewardship.
- Protection of the work against unauthorized exploitation.
- Ability to enforce license terms if necessary.
- Clear and consistent intellectual property management.
The copyright transfer becomes effective only upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication.
Authors' Rights Despite Copyright Transfer
Although authors transfer copyright to SJESR, they retain substantial rights through the CC BY 4.0 license that SJESR applies to all published content.
Authors Are Free To

Publication Fees (APCs)
To sustain open-access operations, SJESR charges Article Processing Charges (APCs) to authors upon manuscript acceptance. However, fee waivers are available for authors from countries facing exceptional circumstances, and discounts are offered to peer reviewers.

The CC BY 4.0 license applied by SJESR complies with the open access requirements of most major funding agencies worldwide, including:
